Most items: 90 days. Purchases on a Home Depot Consumer Card, Pro Xtra, or Commercial account: 365 days. Special rules: plants (1 year guarantee on perennials/trees/shrubs), paint (30 days), major appliances (48 hours to report damage/defects).

  • Receipts for card purchases can typically be located in-store for 90 days (365 for Home Depot cards).
  • No-receipt returns may be refunded as store credit with valid ID, subject to verification.
